When you complete the Certificate III in Individual Support you'll be on your way to a career as an aged care assistant. This course specialises in providing home and community support services and also supports relationships with carers and families. You will gain the knowledge and skills to work effectively in the aged care industry, caring for the elderly, enabling them to maintain independence, understanding and supporting people with dementia, safety procedures, ethical behaviour, infection control, working with cultural diversity, and workplace health and safety.
